It's a technique called left-foot braking!

You don't use that technique often with an FR.
You depress the left-foot brake to the edge of control.
Since FFs understeer when you accelerate.
It's an advanced technique where you lighten the load off the rear by braking with your left foot while keeping the accellerator pressed with your right foot so the line doesn't change.
It means he's a pretty good FF-driver.
He must be pretty fast.
